A Separate Reality

Our need for something to be true does not affect what it is; it only increases our propensity to create our own separate reality.

But how do we determine true nature of something?  Scientists have explored this question and have many answers that can be repeatedly verified.  The nature scientists have uncovered is much different than the nature you and I perceive on a daily basis.  The more scientists and as a consequence society as a whole uncovers, the more beautiful and mysterious our universe becomes.
